Your generosity helped us build paths of hope for 37 orphans and 150 school children in Montrouis. Your gifts help us continue building these paths to help children escape Haiti's extreme poverty and become productive adults.
Small things done with great love can change lives. We want our children to know what it means to feel loved -- especially orphans, many of whom never had family, or were abandoned by parents.
Did you know that dirty water is the biggest killer of kids under five? Sadly, nearly 80% of people in rural Haiti have no choice but to drink contaminated water.
But thanks to you, that's not the case inside Eden Garden Orphanage where our kids drink safe water.
Bringing health care to those who have nothing is one of the most sacred paths we can build. As Mother Teresa said, “It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”
Principal Christian Toussaint feels intense pressure to help children escape poverty through education. Frequently, he pays for uniforms of children who can't attend school because they can't afford to buy uniforms or black shoes required in Haiti. At Eden Garden Academy, he has a chance to help 150 children from families living in extreme poverty.
